NEW TOURIST TOURS FROM MARCH TO JUNE - 10/03/2021

Besides the guided visits in Spanish language, this programme includes tours in English.

The visits will be made in small groups, and the use of face mask, hand sanitiser and social distancing will be necessary in order to minimize the risks of COVID-19.

In English language you will find  two different guided visits:

During the tour “Meetings at the Castle”, an official guide will explain the history of the medieval fortress, sentinel of the Guadalentin Valley, touring the different parts of the Castle. This visit is not suitable for people with reduced mobility and comfortable shoes and sun protection are highly recommended. Its price is €3 per adult and €2 per children until  12 years old.

“Tour the Museum” proposes you the guided tour in English to the Archaeological Museum Los Baños, once per month and coinciding with the street market, in order you can enjoy the full morning in Alhama. This visit is free of charge and will show 2000 years of the history of thermalism in our town.

You can also join the Theatrical Visit in Spanish language held monthly, where historical characters such as Romans, Arabs, the Marquis of los Velez or King Jaime will narrate how they lived in their respective time in Alhama, touring the old town.

Furthermore a new activity for children in this program is the tourist gymkhana in Spanish, a funny way to explore the cultural places of Alhama and practice your Spanish. For children from 7 years old. Children must be accompanied by an adult, tutor or legal guardian.

  All the tours have limited capacity, so the prior reservartion is required. You can do it through the tourist office, the Los Baños Archaeological Museum or online clicking here.
