VISIT BY OUR LADY OF FUENSANTA
19 and 20 October 2026.7.30 pm – Arrival of the Virgin of Fuensanta in the Los Dolores neighbourhood. Official welcome by the Town Council, religious brotherhoods, associations and the people of Alhama.
8.30 pm – Procession of the Virgin of Fuensanta to the Church of La Concepción (with fireworks). Route: Calle Virgen de los Dolores, Sánchez Vivancos, Sánchez Vidal, Corredera, Rambla Don Diego and the forecourt of the Church of La Concepción.
9.00 pm – Arrival at the Church of La Concepción.
9.15 pm – Departure for the Church of San Lázaro Obispo (with fireworks). Route: Acequia Espuña, Florencio Javaloy, Avenida Sierra Espuña, San Francisco Javier, Postigos, Alhama de Murcia Town Hall, Postigos, Tomás Moro, Juan Carlos I, Feria, and the forecourt of San Lázaro Obispo.
10.15 pm – Arrival at the Parish Church of San Lázaro Obispo. Celebration of the Word, with singing by the Virgen del Rosario Choir and Dance Group. Followed by hot chocolate in the atrium for all those present, organised by Alhama de Murcia Town Hall.
00:00 – Throughout the night, a vigil and various prayers in the Church of San Lázaro.
