ENRÉDATE CON EL VERANO (PROGRAMME FOR SENIOR CITIZENS)
To register, please call 662152614."Enrédate con el verano" is the new initiative launched by the Red Cross in Alhama de Murcia to encourage active ageing, combat unwanted loneliness and promote healthy habits amongst older people throughout July.
The programme will take place on Mondays and Wednesdays, from 9.30 am to 12 noon, and will include leisure activities, exercise for older people, environmental education, awareness-raising, the promotion of healthy habits and advice on how to cope with heatwaves.
In addition, the Red Cross will provide an adapted transport service to help participants return home when circumstances require it.
Participation is open to any resident of the municipality aged 65 or over, regardless of whether they have previously taken part in projects run by the organisation.
