34th Cultural Week for the Elderly: Poetry Recital

Poetry recital by senior citizens and awards ceremony for the poetry competition. The event will be accompanied by a performance from La Tuna de Economía y Empresa de Murcia. Free admission.

Terms and conditions of the poetry competition:

1.- The competition is open to all senior citizens, retired people and pensioners in Alhama de Murcia who wish to take part.

2.- The theme of the poems is open.

3.- Each participant may submit a maximum of three poems, with a maximum of 50 lines per poem, typed or handwritten in clear handwriting.

4.- Entries must be submitted by 2 June at 1.00 pm at the Casa de Cultura, in an unmarked envelope.

5.- Three prizes will be awarded:

First prize: €100

Second prize: €70

Third prize: €50.

6.- The jury will be appointed by the Department for the Elderly and may modify or declare the prizes void.

7.- Participation in the competition implies acceptance of these rules.
