1st INTERCULTURAL MEETING "HUELLAS COMPARTIDAS"
From 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Free Admission. An event dedicated to diversity and cultural exchange.With the participation of the different cultures residing in Alhama.
This event will feature a varied programme that will include traditional children's games, dance and music performances from different parts of the world by various folk groups and musical ensembles made up of residents from different cultures living in the Region of Murcia. The event will also feature international food tastings, with countries such as Colombia, Morocco, Ukraine, the Dominican Republic, Cuba, Senegal and Ecuador represented. There will be a bar service and activities aimed at promoting neighbourly coexistence.
PROGRAMME OF ACTIVITIES
- 10:00am - 11:45am Children's activity ‘Juegos Compartidos’ with Animunis staff.
- 11:45am - Welcome ceremony and opening of the event by the Mayor of Alhama de Murcia, Rosa Sánchez Bishop, and the president of the Culture and Art Association ‘Huellas Compartidas’ (Shared Footprints), María Regla Pérez Hechevarría. The event will be hosted by Leonardo Wong.
From 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Live music and dance performances.
- 12:00 p.m. - Cuban Association in Murcia and its cultural project ‘Sandunga Cubana’
- 12:20 p.m. - Esperanzas Andinas Folk Group from Ecuador.
- 12:30 p.m. - Aires de Colombia Folk Group Association.
- 12:40 p.m. - Folk Group Association of Ukrainians in the Region of Murcia.
- 12:50 p.m. - Uribe 01 (Dominican Republic)
- 1:10 p.m. - Aires de Colombia Folk Group Association.
- 1:20 p.m. - Esperanzas Andinas Folk Group from Ecuador.
- 1:30 p.m. - Ukrainian Association of the Region of Murcia Folk Group.
- 1:40 p.m. - Aires de Colombia Folk Group Association.
- 1:50 p.m. - Folk Group Association of Ukrainians in the Region of Murcia.
From 2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Tasting of typical dishes from different countries while the shows continue.
- 2 p.m. - Aires de Colombia Folk Group Association.
- 2:10 p.m. - Rafi Gómez and Zobeida Belly and their Belly Dance.
- 2:20 p.m. - Aires de Colombia Folk Group Association.
- 2:30 p.m. - Esperanzas Andinas Folk Group from Ecuador.
- 2:40 p.m. - Aires de Colombia Folk Group Association.
- 2:50 p.m. - Rafi Gómez and Zobeida Belly and her Belly Dance.
- 3:00 p.m. - Aires de Colombia Folk Group Association.
- 3:30 p.m. - Madior Mbaye and his group, directly from Senegal.
- 5:00 p.m. - Cuban Association in Murcia and its cultural project ‘Sandunga Cubana’.
- 6:00 p.m. - Closing of the 1st Intercultural Encounter ‘Shared Footprints’
