CHRISTMAS 2025: First Painting Competition "Vive la Navidad en la Plaza de las Américas"
Painting competition for pupils in Years 1 to 6 of primary school. Registration at schools. Organised by Las Américas Neighbourhood Association.A competition that aims to improve children's creativity and highlight the value of Plaza de las Américas. Participants are invited to draw a Christmas Card featuring any part of the square (the square itself, Casa Amarilla, the park, the flag area, the gardens, etc.). Entries featuring areas outside the square will not be accepted.
The Association will provide A3 card and a board to support it. Any technique can be used.
Registrations will be processed through the Educational Centres until 17 December at 2:00 pm.
The competition will be held on Tuesday, 23 December at 11:00 a.m. in Plaza de las Américas. Participants must arrive at Casa Amarilla between 10:00 and 11:00 a.m. to collect their boards.
Entries must be submitted between 12:00 and 13:00 at Casa Amarilla. All entries must include the following information on the back: name and surname(s), school year group, school name and telephone number.
The jury will be made up of members of Las Américas Neighbourhood Association.
CATEGORIES
a) 1st and 2nd years
b) 3rd and 4th years
c) 5th and 6th years
PRIZES
1st €50 in school supplies and a plaque
2nd €30 in school supplies and a plaque
3rd €20 in school supplies and a plaque
