MEETINGS AT THE CASTLE (GUIDED VISIT IN ENGLISH)

Guided tour of the Castle of Alhama de Murcia in English, of 120 minutes approx. Price: €3 adults and €2 children from 3 to 12. Prior registration required.

Step into the rich history of this majestic Islamic fortress, which has stood guard over the Guadalentin Valley since the late 11th century. With an oficial guide by your side, you’ll explore the ancient defensive walls that once safeguarded its people, venture up to the towering stronghold, and discover the albacar, the former heart of daily life where homes once stood. Please note, this experience is not recommended for individuals with limited mobility.

Please, note that you are visiting a site protected as an Asset of Cultural Interest that is in process of restoration, with areas that are not yet musealized or conditioned for the visit. To preserve the site and to ensure the enjoyment and safety of the visit for everyone, it is necessary to remain at all times within the itinerary prepared for the visit and to respect at all times the indications of the guide and staff. Minors up to 12 years of age must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
