20th BRASS BAND CONTEST
Tickets: 10 euros in advance, 12 euros at the box office.The three musical groups from Alhama de Murcia will participate in this XX Certamen de bandas; the Banda de Cornetas y Tambores de Nuestra Señora de los Dolores y de la Soledad, belonging to the black paso, the Agrupación Musical Santa María Magdalena, from the blue paso and the Banda de Cornetas de la Hermandad de la Verónica, from the red paso.
Also attending the event will be the Horns and Drums Band of the Centuriones de San Pedro, from the neighbouring town of Alcantarilla.
And this year, as a novelty and celebrating that it is the twentieth band contest, the event will be attended by the Agrupación Musical Nuestro padre Jesús de la Pasión de Linares, considered one of the best groups of cofrade music at a national level.
The event will take place on Sunday 18 February at 11:30 a.m. in the Tierno Galván Auditorium. Tickets will cost 10 euros in advance and 12 euros at the box office. They can be purchased by bank transfer by sending a message to the WhatsApp numbers 609 14 00 62 / 686 32 49 44, also La Oca cafeteria and the Repsol service station.
