ATTENTION, POSPONED --> THEATRE IN SPANISH: "PEDRO CANO, PAINTING THE JOURNEY".
This play has been put off."Painting the journey" proposes a path of discovery towards the figure of Pedro Cano, the most important living artist in the Region of Murcia. His work is extensive, a whole life with a paintbrush in his hand. The project focuses especially on his mysterious and marvellous Travelogues, through a theatrical production.
Words, music, lighting, interpretation and a strong presence of the video scene, with which the watercolours hidden in the notebooks are shown, make up the theatrical staging. A monologue full of watercolours, anecdotes and stories from the Far East that will fill the theatre with the artistic and philosophical life of the artist, as well as his emotional environment. A Pedro Cano character takes to the stage to explain his art and at the same time to discover with him the reason for his strokes, the reason for his colours, the reason for his journey.
