SIERRA NEVADA SKI TRIP
The trip includes transport by coach from Alhama to the ski resort of Sierra Nevada and back, the one-day ski pass and the rental of ski equipment (boards, poles and boots) or snowboard (board and boots).Registration can be done by clicking on this LINK
The Youth and Sports Councils have organised a trip to Sierra Nevada (Granada) for skiing on Saturday 18th February 2023. The aim of this activity is to promote snow sports among the young population of Alhama. The event is managed by the nature and adventure company El Tejo.
The departure will be at 4:00 h. from the esplanade of the park of La Cubana and the return is scheduled around 21:30 h. at the same point.
Minors must be accompanied by their parents or legal guardians, or by a person over 18 years of age authorised by them, by filling in the document attached to the news.
The trip includes transport by coach from Alhama to the Sierra Nevada ski resort and back, a one-day ski pass (personal ski pass for access to the slopes and use of the ski lifts with compulsory travel insurance) and the hire of ski equipment (boards, poles and boots) or snowboarding equipment (board and boots).
The price per person is as follows, depending on age:
Adults (from 16 to 59 years old): 65 €.
Senior (from 60 to 69 years old) 55 €.
Children (from 6 to 15 years old): 50 €.
For non-skiing companions who want to go up the slopes in the gondola lift (1 ascent + 1 descent) the price is €30 for adults and seniors (16-69 years old); €23 for children (6-15 years old). Please indicate in the remarks section of the registration form 'NON SKIER TICKET'.
In addition, all those who wish can book a two-hour skiing or snowboarding course of all modalities for €10. If you are interested, please indicate this on the form and make the payment at the time of registration.
The levels are as follows:
Beginners. First day of skiing (more than recommended to make the most of your first day of skiing).
Beginners. Mastered wedge turns. Autonomous on green slopes. You are able to defend yourself on blue slopes.
