MEETINGS AT THE CASTLE

These guided visits to the Castle in English or Spanish are destined to individuals or small groups. For larger groups, previous arranged guided visits in English or Spanish are available. Please, contact us.

Guided tour in English or Spanish to the Castle, by an official guide. Prior registration required at the Tourist Office, Los Baños Museum (968 636780) or online.

Meeting point: Los Baños Archaeological Museum. (C/ Sánchez Vidal, 5)

The Castle of Alhama is a fortresss built in the Islamic period in the late 11th century. During the tour you will know its passionate history visiting the interior of the Keep, and two defensive áreas: the citadel on the top and the space for shelter and residence of the population at the bottom. Not suitable for visitors with reduced mobility. Recommended equipment: comfortable clothes and footwear, cap or hat, sunscreen and water. Tickets must be paid before the starting time at the reception of the Archaeological Museum Los Baños. 

Use of face mask and hand sanitiser compulsory. Please, maintain social distancing. When making reservation, the visitor is  informed and accepts the safety measures that are requested to minimize the risks of COVID-19. These visits are destined to individuals or reduced groups., The organisation reserves the right to cancel this tour is the minimum of necessary reservations is not reached or to modify the itinerary due to inclement weather or other force majeure causes.
